American Idol 2008 Tour

I checked out the American Idol 2008 tour last night at the St. Pete Times Forum. Of course, I got all stupid-giddy when David Cook got on stage and took an extra amount of photos of him.

Never have I seen so much Idol schwag in one place and folks were handing over a bundle of cashola for it. I searched the kiosks for the David Archleta earplugs, but none were to be found. That kid just irks me for some reason.

Aside from the lame Guitar Hero intermission, the show itself was good. Getting to watch Jason Castro sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” was cool. And of course, every one of David Cook’s songs were winners, including my personal Fav, “Hello”.

So all in all, it was worth all the laughs from my friends, when I told them I was going to see the show.

Check out the pics below.
