Free Affiliate Marketing Information

Photo of the word I’ve been receiving a lot of emails lately from folks that are interested in getting started in affiliate marketing. Maybe it’s economy-driven or maybe…just maybe…. bloggers are finally realizing that it’s OK to make money from their blogs ;-)

Either way, I dig it. There’s no better feeling than teaching someone how to make a few extra bucks a month via affiliate marketing; and even better, to help affiliates take their existing affiliate marketing efforts to the next level.

Unfortunately, while I’d love to take everyone under my wing that asks for advice, there’s just no way that I can do it. I’m completely overextended right now.

That being said, my business partner Shawn and I put out a ton of content that is available to everyone, absolutely FREE.

Dive into the links below. You’ll find that all levels and aspects of affiliate marketing are covered. It’s my sincere hope that you’ll find something that fits your needs.

  • Videos from the sessions at previous Affiliate Summit conferences, prior to Affiliate Summit 2009 West can be found at http://www.affiliatesummit.com/videos/
  • Podcasts on Affiliate Marketing, Social Media, Search Marketing, Mobile, Video and more can be found at GeekCast.fm
  • FeedFront Magazine, our bi-monthly print publication contains dozens of articles by experts in the industry. Sign up to get on the mailing list at FeedFront.com. You can also download previous issues there as well.
  • Shawn Collins puts out multiple blog posts per week on affiliate marketing (and has been for years) at AffiliateTip.com. Sign up to receive updates by email.
  • Shawn and I also speak at various shows during the course of the year. The Inbound Marketing Summit, taking place in Dallas on May 27th and 28th, is where we’ll be next.

Please let me know if you find the information helpful. And, definitely let me know if there is something that you’re looking for, that we’re not covering.

MissyWard.com runs on the Thesis Theme Framework

If you’re an affiliate who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, HTML, or CSS, Thesis will give you a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via extensive hooks and filters. And with so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site.

Those of you who are “in between,” like myself, can use the fantastic Thesis User’s Guide and world-class support forums to make more professional customizations than you ever thought possible. The theme is not only highly customizable, but it allows me to build sites with a much more targeted focus on monetization than ever before. You can find out more about Thesis below:

Thanks Ron. I'm currently working on a new video presentation now entitled "Six Common Pitfalls New Affiliates Should Avoid" which should be up this week at some point. These are just some tips I wish someone would have given me when I first started out. I hope it helps out someone before they make the same mistakes I did :)

Thank you very much for yet more information, Missy.

When a new AWeber affiliate asks me for information, I always point him to your blog, Shawn Collins affiliatetip and YouTube channel, Feedfront magazine, as well as ABest web and affiliate classroom.

Oh, Geekcast is great too!

With those resources, you can't go wrong., but the new affiliate content you mentioned would be a welcome addition!

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thanks Missy,
I like that you are always giving back. What goes around comes around. Also, after meeting you at asw09 I know that you are geniune. Sometimes it is hard to weed through the scams and I appreciate that if you put something out there it is for real. Thanks again!

I appreciate that Lori. My goal is to start providing some content for new affiliates on this site. Something that will help them get started.

It can be a confusing road at the beginning, so I hope I\\'ll be able to help a little bit by providing some instruction.
